Friendship & Dialogue Nights

Amity Turkish Cultural Center invites you to Friendship & Dialogue Nights that will take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 7:00 pm.

Mothers Day Visit 2009

Amity Turkish Cultural Center members handed out roses at the Heartland Health Care Center, East Pointe Church, and Deermeadows Baptist Church on Mother’s day. Roses were provided by WINN-DIXIE.

Jane Hire plans to visit Turkey this summer to attend a friend's nuptials. When she gets there, she wants to be able to partake of more than just the Turkish coffees, juices and dishes such as profiterols and sarma.

On Sunday, April 5, 2009 more than a thousand of people attended the 1st Jacksonville Turkish Food & Handcraft Festival.

WHIRLING DERVISHES

The Our Centerorganized Whirling Dervishes programs in the Jacksonville. Whirling dervishes from Turkey Turkey performed their traditional Mevlevi Sema Ceremony at 7:30pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the UNF Fine Arts Center.
